Kırklareli University is diligently working to ensure the success of this significant event by engaging with regional employers and professional organizations through a series of strategic visits.
The primary goal of these visits is to promote the fair, encourage participation, provide detailed information about sponsorship opportunities, and foster collaboration between local businesses and educational institutions. Notably, Kırklareli University representatives are meeting with key regional stakeholders, including industry leaders, to ensure their active involvement in the fair. These interactions aim to establish connections, enhance regional economic growth, and support local businesses in accessing skilled young talents.
Visit to the Organized Industrial Zone (OIZ)
On January 7, 2025, Kırklareli University representatives visited the Kırklareli Organized Industrial Zone (OIZ), engaging in meetings with the OIZ Director, Mr. Sebahattin Dönmez, and the OIZ Human Resources Manager, Mr. İbrahim Yücepur. The delegation, led by Vice Rector Prof. Dr. Raif Cergibozan and Career Center Representative Lecturer Sibel Evren, explored ways to encourage the participation of regional companies in the career fair. They also examined potential benefits the event would bring to the industrial sector, particularly in terms of access to young, talented professionals. The meeting included deliberations on sponsorship opportunities and discussed potential collaborative projects to further strengthen the regional economy.
Visit to the Chamber of Commerce and Industry
On January 9, 2025, another visit was conducted at the Kırklareli Chamber of Commerce and Industry, where meetings were held with Chamber President Mr. Soner Ilık. During this visit, Kırklareli University representatives, including Vice Rector Prof. Dr. Raif Cergibozan and Career Center Representative Lecturer Dr. Begüm Ügüttüren Güvenç, explored opportunities for collaboration and sponsorship within the framework of the Trakya Career Fair. The meetings emphasized the fair's potential to facilitate valuable connections between the business world and emerging young talents. Several suggestions were made to encourage Chamber members to actively participate in the event. The significance of the fair in increasing regional employment opportunities and providing local businesses with a steady influx of skilled new talent was also highlighted.
